I want to start by saying that I am overly obsessed with makeup. This is the first post of my new makeup blog. I wanted to start with something as simple as what I like to wear (makeup wise) on a non-eventful day. In the picture above, I have placed my makeup of the day, also known nowadays as hashtag MOTD. Featuring my all-time favorite highlighter, mascara and eye shadow palette. I have listed all the products below, along with links to where you can find them, and a little short and simple review. Blush: MAC Powder Blush in Melba
A soft, easy, wearable peachy pink. Very pigmented and easy to blend.
Eyeshadows: Urban Decay Naked2 Basics
The most wearable palette that ever existed. Cool-toned neutrality. Soft, buttery, pigmented and easy to blend. No brush/applicator.
Lipstick: Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick
Hydrating formula. Not my favorite. Very expensive. Must use it up.
Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
My all time favorite mascara. Lengthens, gives volume, clumps a little bit. Must be careful.
Bronzer: Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna
Has easily become my favorite bronzer. Neutral toned. Has shimmer, but once blended, it's Gone Girl.
Highlighter: BECCA Shimering Skin Perfector (Pressed) in Moonstone.
Pale gold/champagne color. Magic in a powder. My all-time favorite highlighter. EVER.
